Empower Yourself for Success by Sandkat

What far-reaching effects could you set in motion by raising the standards you've set for your life and making a firm commitment to live by them from here on in ?

In 1955 an ordinary woman decided to defy a law that discriminated against her because of her colour.  Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on a bus, a decision that had far greater consequences than she may have ever imagined.  She set in motion a chain of events that changed the structure of a society.  Had she intended to do that?  Whatever her intention, her commitment to a higher standard compelled her to act.

Could we change our lives simply by having the courage to do so and the realization that we can control what happens in our life. We may not be able to control the events but we can control our response to them and the actions we choose to take as a result.

Research has shown that those who succeed tend to make decisions quickly and are slow to change their minds. Those who fail make decisions slowly and tend to change their minds frequently.
Whatever thing you're not happy with, a relationship, your career, anything - make a decision right now about how you're going to change it immediately. Once you've made a sound decision - stick to it !

"Things do not change - we change"
